Nestled in the heart of the serene Finger Lakes region, our vintage barn workshop is more than just a place—it’s a vibrant community where women of all ages gather to explore the artistry of welding. In the span of a single class, you’ll experience the magic of transforming pieces of metal into a finished masterpiece.

Tom and Stacey’s 20-year friendship blossomed into something more in 2017 when they reunited for coffee, a day that changed their lives forever. After marrying two years later, these long-time Rochester natives moved to the Finger Lakes region in 2020, seeking a quieter, simpler life. Their new property inspired them to create Ironwood Studios, combining Stacey’s 25+ years as a metal artist and Tom’s 30-year career in the music industry.
Trading city life for an 1800s farmhouse on 3 acres was a significant change. With resourcefulness and determination, they renovated the old hay barn into a metal shop and are transforming the second floor into a venue for music, art, food, and more. Their hospitality background shines through in the thoughtfully curated space, welcoming all who visit.
